Job Description:
Electrical Engineer $110K - $125K SUMMARY Under general
supervision, responsible to design, develop and test electrical
equipment, components, circuits or systems. Applies mathematical
and engineering principles and methods to designs. Performs
extensive testing and validation of designs to ensure reliability,
performance and safety standards are achieved. Conduct research and
studies new technologies to innovate and design solutions or
products. Helps to develop all aspects of electrical control
systems for equipment and machinery. Please let me know if you have
any questions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AND/OR
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES include the following. Other duties may
be assigned. Design electrical control systems. Design, install,
maintain and modify PLC systems. Understand and be able to install
and troubleshoot AC/DC drives and motors, as well as work with
relays, contacts, transformers, motor starters, sensors, switches,
etc. Provide technical support, hardware and software changes of
PLC-based equipment. Assist manufacturing engineering department
and field service employees with equipment issues. Support facility
safety programs. Assist in start-up of new technology systems and
continuous improvement and modernization efforts of older systems.
Contribute to cost-savings ideas and efforts. Assists with project
reviews including, but not limited to, quotes, job specifications,
standard and non-standard material requirements, design logic, etc.
As appropriate and necessary, ensures corporate programs, i.e.
EH&S, ISO, JSOX, C-TPAT, ITAR, Compliance, etc. are supported

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE To perform this job

Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in electrical engineering or technical
degree and 4-7 years’ related industry experience and electrical
control systems; or equivalent combination of education and
experience. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and
procedures within a particular field. Must possess: strong
electrical troubleshooting skills, project management experience,
excellent communications skills, able to work independently and as
part of a team. Up to 25% domestic or international travel, as
