tanning salon chains in the country with over 250 salons in 20
states is currently accepting applications for a Salon
Director.This position contributes to Sun Tan City's success by
leading a team to create and maintain the Sun Tan City Experience
for our clients. The Salon Director is responsible for managing the
overall operation of the salon, including supervising staff, making
staffing decisions (hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining,
discharging, staffing, and scheduling), ensuring client
satisfaction and quality of service, monitoring staff performance,
handling maintenance issues, maintaining cleanliness, and managing
safety and security within the salon.The Salon Director models and
acts in accordance with Sun Tan City principles to deliver an

Developing and coaching employees to provide excellent client
experiences- Addressing client concerns promptly- Setting a
positive example and maintaining composure during busy times-
Ensuring team accountability for service quality- Driving
performance metrics through action plans and company programs-
Promoting the culture, values, and mission of Sun Tan City-
Delegating responsibilities for smooth operations- Ensuring
cleanliness, maintenance, sanitation, and organization of the
salon- Managing staffing levels for development and operational
needs- Complying with wage and hour laws- Using operational tools
for planning and achieving excellence- Analyzing financial reports
to improve performance- Conducting performance assessments and
setting goals- Managing ongoing sales- Working a minimum of 40
hours per week, including mid and/or closing shifts as
neededExperience:- College education preferred but not required-
Management and/or sales experience required- Basic computer skills
(Word, Excel, Outlook)- Ability to manage multiple situations in a
fast-paced environment- Strong client service, problem-solving,
organizational, and leadership skills- Team building and delegation
skillsPhysical Requirements:- Ability to stand and walk for long
periods- Ability to bend, lift, and perform cleaning functions
