Job Description:

Context Labs is seeking a Sales Executive to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and accounts. This person will be a producer, collaborating closely with senior leadership to define and close sales deals. This person will contribute to the growing pipeline of opportunities focused on energy and energy transition. This position will report directly to the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities


  • Identify customer needs and use cases to build effectively scoped proposals and documentation to support the sales and deployment of Context Labs' Decarbonization as a Service--- platform, built on our Immutably--- data fabric technology
  • Manage customer accounts and all requisite documentation to include proposals, pitch decks, sales collateral, and anything else required by internal or external reporting
  • Work directly with the marketing team to maintain the highest understanding of market demand and stay updated on the latest outbound messaging
  • Use industry and business knowledge to research accounts, identify key stakeholders, and develop them into customers
  • Communicate regularly with clients and the professional services team to define technical and scoping requirements for their specific instance of the Immutably--- data fabric
  • Build strong internal and external relationships with professionalism, courtesy, and positivity

    • 5+ years of enterprise sales or business development experience in energy value chain, utilities, and/or software
    • Familiarity with upstream, midstream, and downstream ecosystem data acquisition
    • Proven track record of sales success selling to Senior Executives and the C-Level
    • Strong depth and breadth of contacts in Oil and Natural Gas
    • Excellent writer and verbal communicator
    • Self-starter and a motivated individual that can guide a deal through its complete lifecycle from open to close
    • Customer-focused outstanding listener with ability to think on your feet
    • Great organizational skills - effectively manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment'
    • Maintain positive and collaborative relationships with multiple internal and external stakeholders
    • Experience with the Microsoft Office and Google Suite
    • Knowledge of and interest in addressing climate change
    • Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred
