Exciting opportunity to specialize in and lead sales for UL's Sustainability and ESG Data Management Software offerings to UL's client base. You would primarily be selling our UL 360 -products, sometimes in combination with advisory or other services.
The role will be remote and as such we are flexible on your location within the United Kingdom. With an established, highly rated product in the industry and fast paced market you will be set for success.
What you'll learn & achieve:

  • Serves as main point of client contact for specialty Software products / services throughout sales cycle, responsible for articulating value proposition and managing client interactions
  • Maintains ongoing relationships after initial sale has closed in order to effectively convert software renewals
  • Specific to the customer's current technology platforms and systems, communicates value proposition of assigned specialty products / services to clients based on highly technical knowledge
  • Works with account managers on discovery and opportunity identification for assigned specialty products / services
  • Brings in additional technical resources (e.g., engineers) when needed to support sales opportunities of assigned specialty products / services
  • Makes connections and builds trusted advisor status with relevant account owners
  • Supports development of Global Account Manager and Strategic Account Manager multi-year account plans in Software by providing insight on area of specialization (specific product / service)
  • Contributes to the development of strategy for their assigned specialized Software products / services by providing input on customer needs, pain points, trends, etc. to product /service manager
  • Under moderate guidance, performs product demos and advises customers on how to integrate software into an existing IT environment
  • Uses technical credibility to build relationships with buyers and centers of influence, in support of GAM, SAM and Key Account Managers (serving Global accounts)
  • Works under moderate guidance of the sales leadership on proposals and closings in the field for assigned specialty product / service sales as directed by GAM, SAM or regionally focused Global support KAM

    What makes you a great fit:

    • Bachelor's and/or Graduate Degree in software engineering or related field
    • 2 years of related sales experience preferably with Large Enterprise Customers
    • Experience as a sustainability consultant/account manager with strong client relationships and an interest in sales
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets
    • Business acumen and deep understanding of business sales processes, ideally with a consultative sales background
    • Ideally deep knowledge and experience with sustainability, ESG, software or a combination of products and services in these fields
    • Ability to demonstrate software products or to quickly learn this skill
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), and CRM software
    • Ability to interact with customers and stakeholders and build strong relationships
    • Commercial mindset, proactive approach and initiative
    • Fluent English, other languages knowledge will be considered as a plus
    • Availability to business travel and work outside of the office if necessary
