About the Job
The Supply Chain Analyst is a new role & will be responsible for
optimizing and improving the efficiency of the global supply chain
process. The role will analyze data related to supply chain
processes (demand planning, inventory levels, distribution,
logistics, and costs), generate performance reports, and provide
recommendations to support decision-making. This role will work
closely with cross-functional stakeholders in the Sales and
Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze data related to supply chain processes and provide
insights to support decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to minimize waste, reduce costs, and
shorten cycle times in the supply chain.
- Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to
understand market trends, customer demand and forecasts.
- Conduct scenario analyses to assess the impact of different
demand scenarios on production, inventory, and distribution
plans.
- Build and maintain business intelligence reports to measure
business demand objectives and make key supply
recommendations.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related
to the S&OP process.
- Provide data-driven insights and visuals to facilitate
decision-making during monthly the S&OP cycle.
- Assess and mitigate risks within the supply chain, such as
disruptions in the supply of materials or logistics issues. Develop
contingency plans to address potential disruptions.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall
supply chain performance.
- Assist in supply chain administrative tasks, ensuring smooth
operations and efficient processes.
- Communicate change orders using global change management
process and implement approved actions.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
to ensure a smooth flow of information within the supply
chain.
- Maintain adherence to environmental and health safety
guidelines and policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering,
Business, or related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools
(Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SQL)
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through a history of
analyzing and developing solutions in coordination with multiple
stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding of business priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and cross
functionally to influence change
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Collaborative team player with a positive attitude to maintain
focus in difficult situations
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain & Inventory
Management
- Familiarity with the life sciences industry, including a basic
understanding of regulatory requirements, GMP, quality standards,
and the unique challenges associated with pharmaceuticals,
biotechnology, or medical devices
- Lean Six Sigma Knowledge
- Competency in Sales and Operations Planning or similar
systems
- Non-conformances, and Corrective Action Plans
- Experience in working with an enterprise resource planning
inventory system
- Experience managing Bill of Materials creation and change
independently
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while
maintaining a professional demeanor
- Strong interpersonal skills that include skills in written
communication, oral communication, collaboration, and problem
solving with other departments and colleagues
- Understanding of HIPAA and importance of privacy of patient
data
