In this role, you will report to the Site Manager/Services and will work closely with the Avantor's Lab and Production Services team of over 1,500 on- and off-site expert personnel - and our customers - to perform customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. Location: Cambridge, MA 02139Schedule: 1st Shift, 7:30AM to 4PMWhat we're looking for* Education: High School Diploma or GED required * Experience: 1-2 years' experience in material handling/inventory replenishment or customer service* Collaboration Tool: Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office with proficiency in Word and Excel* Preferred Qualifications:

• Conform to all company and customer requirements for background checks, health and safety issues.
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent Customer Service Skills: display a professional Can-do attitude
• Perform duties with the highest regard for safety and quality
• Ability to understand and follow site protocols, policies and procedures
• Must be flexible, forward-thinking, motivated, and have the ability to act independently
• Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

In this role you will
  • Facilitates orders for consumable lab inventory replenishment
  • Manages customer's point of use or stockroom inventory
  • May handle and manager chemicals, including hazardous materials
  • Basic order entry and follow-up on existing back orders
  • Maintains and checks safety stations
  • Updating and maintain Standard Operation Procedures
  • May require traveling between customer sites
