Summary
This is an opportunity to join a strong Chapter team and work
closely with staff partners, local leadership, regional and
national colleagues, and an outstanding group of volunteers to
increase the reach and impact of the Greater New England Chapter.
The Chapter currently includes a staff team of nine, a Community
Board of Directors, and volunteer leaders who are actively engaged
and passionate supporters of JDRF. Our Chapter proudly serves
Maine, eastern Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and
Vermont.
Under the direction of the Development Manager, and through
collaboration and coordination with national and regional teams,
chapter staff, and volunteer partners, the Development Coordinator
supports the chapter's fundraising programs, with a primary focus
on Peer-to-Peer fundraising events. The Development Coordinator
will work on a variety of Chapter programs and development
activities that build and strengthen links to potential and
existing volunteers and donors. This position also supports aspects
of chapter operations, event marketing, event day volunteers, and
logistics.
This position is hybrid, with a minimum of two days in the
Wellesley, MA office.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds,
and infrequently up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities
required by this position include close vision, distance vision,
color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust
focus.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
