Job Description:
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Program Coordinator,
Student Support Services (S3) and Care Team MIT Student Support and
Wellbeing seeks a program coordinator to be the first to work as a
part of two dynamic teams within Student Support and Wellbeing and
support the mission of supporting students, facilitating their
academic success, and educating them about living healthy and
purposeful lives. Will assist in supporting the academic success
and personal growth of students by serving on the S3 Drop-in team,
a team dedicated to quick, easy, same-day access to student support
as well as be a part of the CARE Team, a team dedicated to
supporting students with highest critical needs. A full description
is available at Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree One year
of experience in higher education Interest in student
support/wellbeing, human services, and supporting individuals in
distress Knowledge of the general needs of college students,
college student health/mental health, and risk factors for the
college student population Ability to advise students and work
collaboratively with faculty, administrators, and students Desire
to work with a diverse population Strong interpersonal and
communication skills Excellent judgment and discretion with
confidential information Initiative A flexible approach to
responsibilities in a dynamic, high-energy environment Ability to
work with spreadsheets, databases, web software and generally
navigate technology Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in
higher education, counseling, or related field This is a hybrid
