Now's your chance.**The Opportunity**Abt Associates seeks a qualified Cloud Solutions Architect to support further growth and expansion into the "Cloud". Abt Associates is currently embarking various programs and is looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect with AWS experience. This role entails gathering client requirements, working with various business leads from IT Operations to ensure timely, efficient, and high-quality designs and standards aligned to the strategic direction.**Core Responsibilities**+ Serve as the primary technical associate of the IT Solutions team in assisting in confirming customer success in creating applications and services on the AWS platform.+ Understand client engagement, critically towards well-defined purposes and achievement standards.+ Have a working understanding of DevOps.+ Record and spread best-practice knowledge between the IT Solution and Operations teams.+ Shorten the time required for production builds, he/she should be capable of deploying automation infrastructure by utilizing the AWS Cloud Formation technique. Eg:+ Infrastructure Devices such as S3, Elastic Load Balancers, Routers, Servers, and Firewalls+ Operating System configurations and patching including various flavors of Windows and Linux.+ Responsible for delivery of Cloud and infrastructure solutions across geographical regions, multiple cloud providers, and various Infrastructure platforms.+ Hands-on administrator of various IT infrastructure systems to ensure the security and optimal performance by using monitoring tools and systems to analyze, maintain, and troubleshoot.+ Ability to apply Project Management best practices to each client engagement.**What We Value**+ Proven experience managing and developing projects with the ability to provide inspirational leadership and development.+ Ability to make decisions and work with minimal direction.+ Experience in leading Cloud architecture design following "Well Architected Framework" practices.+ Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs.+ Relevant hands-on design and implementation experience in cloud solutions, with knowledge of the following technical disciplines or areas:+ AWS/Azure and other cloud offerings+ Network design+ Security+ Experience in the application of one or more architecture frameworks and any associated architecture development methods.+ Good understanding of network and cloud architecture and methodologies.+ Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies.+ HS Degree + Thirteen years of relevant experience, Bachelor's Degree + Nine years of relevant experience, or Master's Degree + Seven years of relevant experience, or PhD + Four years of experience+ Be able to determine the associated risks with software products, frameworks, or third-party platforms.+ Familiarity with regulatory and legal requirements (i.e., FedRamp, GovCloud, FISMA, SOX, HIPAA requirements).+ Work with public sector or security sensitive clients a plus**What We Offer**We foster an environment where you can Thrive Your Way.
