D-3 formally launched in July 2022 with 12 labs that will provide cutting-edge research faced by academics and practitioners. Business, the global economy, and societies around the world are facing dramatic upheaval as a result of rapid technological change driven simultaneously by digitization, the application of data science and machine learning to all facets of the company, economic, and human data, and a new emphasis on the importance of design and innovation on value creation for stakeholders. D-3 (re)invents how organizations will compete and thrive in this new world and educates the next generation of leaders.D-3 features a cohort of 12 research labs led by Harvard Business School faculty. The full stack engineer will initially support the LIFE Lab and the Tech for All Lab to develop prototypes, build scalable platforms and interfaces, and other products to support faculty research. The full stack engineer will work within the larger D-3 Data and Research Science function and will work closely with data engineering and data science capabilities.
