The ideal candidate will immediately contribute to projects by developing features, fixing bugs, and mentoring junior level staff across the stack (frontend, API layer, and database).* We offer our team members:*Variety - Mathematica's project-based structure means that you will work in many different capacities, across the entirety of the stack, each with opportunities for deepening existing skills, developing new competencies, and working with new technologies. Our group has a strong culture that supports both technical and interpersonal skill development, recognizing that any individual's impact is multiplied when that person can effectively listen to and communicate with others.* Position Requirements*: * * Technical* o Strong development experience along with excellent debugging skills o Demonstrated strong proficiency and experience developing in JavaScript (preferably in Typescript with the Angular framework) o Demonstrated proficiency in any of the following languages: C#, Python, Java o Experience developing applications with SQL databases o Preferred: experience building web-based dashboards with D3 o Preferred: experience analyzing or managing datasets * *Approach to Work* o A desire to improve society through evidence-based research o Strong attention to detail o Internal drive to learn, advocate for new ideas, and teach others o Strong communication skills o Ability to juggle multiple responsibilitiesThis position offers an anticipated annual base salary range of $75,000 - $100,000.
