join our group in Cambridge, MA. Our science is focused on the
development and application of novel screening platforms in
disease-relevant model systems to understand disease mechanisms and
identify therapeutic opportunities. The successful applicant will
design and execute novel analytical approaches in close
collaboration with screening and genomics scientists with the aim
of generating insights that will initiate drug discovery
programs. You will establish methods for the analysis and
interpretation of data from emerging profiling techniques, such as
phenotypic and functional screens in complex patient-derived
disease models. Together with computational and experimental
colleagues you will investigate disease states, therapeutic
mechanisms, and link patient biology to relevant in-vitro models.
Your ability to deeply understand experimental context, develop and
apply appropriate statistical methodology, and communicate results
to an interdisciplinary team is essential. -This position combines
tackling challenging scientific problems with working towards the
benefit of patients with unmet medical need. You will be encouraged
to contribute creative solutions and to identify new opportunities
to accelerate drug discovery through computational innovation.Key

- Develop robust statistical methodology for primary analysis of
functional or phenotypic screening experiments
- Closely collaborate with screening scientists to establish best
practices for design and execution of novel functional genomics
technologies in patient-derived samples or disease-relevant model
systems
- Define computational strategies to map patient biology to
in-vitro models
- Implement and apply analytical approaches to leverage screening
data to validate hypotheses about disease biology and therapeutic
mechanismsBasic Qualifications
