ride!Role overvie The Sr. Brand Marketing Specialist will work
directly with the Sr Manager, Brand Marketing to support key brand
efforts by managing campaign development and execution, overseeing
social media strategy, managing our library of assets, and owning
CG's brand tracker to measure the impact of campaign performance
and brand health. This position will also conduct qualitative and
quantitative research studies related to brand assets, industry
changes, and research priorities as needed. What you'll do Support
the development of quarterly and annual brand plans, defining
objectives, strategies, and tactics with clear rationale. Support
campaigns in the US, Canada, and the UK. Manage timelines, provide
creative feedback and direction, and streamline communication
across internal and external teams to support a successful launch.
Post-launch, the Brand Management team partners with the marketing
analytics and media teams to analyze campaign metrics and
performance. Collaborate with and manage cross-functional partners
on critical business initiatives, including new master brand
campaigns, social campaigns, and integrated campaign planning. Own
CG's organic social media strategy and oversee internal and
external content creation, posting, and performance. Scope will
include the creation and execution of influencer and user-generated
content. Own the management of the brand marketing budget,
including expense tracking and prioritization of investment
opportunities. Manage the CarGurus library of assets, photography,
and videos, serving as the go-to brand resource for
cross-functional partners and vendors. Own CG's internal brand
tracker with an external research partner. As needed, conduct
qualitative and quantitative research studies related to brand
assets, industry changes, and research priorities. Track and
analyze business and competitive performance, leveraging data and
insights to identify avenues for growth . What you'll bring 2-4
years experience in marketing, consumer brand marketing Understand
the relationship between brand channels, tactics and results. Be
data focused and understand the role of data in brand building and
driving top and bottom-line results. Inspire agency partners and
coordinate the development of new media and creative executions.
Strong leadership and relationship management skills. Ability to
operate independently and in teams; able to lead groups with
minimal direction. High levels of organization and accountability,
with the ability to effectively manage time and competing
priorities. Strong understanding of strategy and business planning,
fundamental marketing principles, data analysis, promotions, and
project management. Excellent persuasive communication skills:
written, verbal, and presentation. Demonstrated analytical skills
with ability to generate business insights from diverse data
sources. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite: PowerPoint,
Excel, Word, Outlook. Working knowledge of various data analysis
and reporting tools and comfort in getting up to speed on new tools
(e.g. Google Analytics, Looker, Excel or similar business
