Duties: Work across a highly matrixed environment to advance
preclinical drug development programs from target identification
and validation through IND enabling activities by utilizing
experience with: assay development and instrumentation applicable
to western blot analysis, quantitative real time PCR (qPCR),
enzyme-linked immunoassay (ELISA), meso scale discovery (MSD),
AlphaLISA, immunoprecipitation (IP), homogeneous time resolved
fluorescence (HTRF) and reporter assays; software of Graph Pad,
Microsoft Office and Spotfire; laboratory experience in cancer
biology and MAPK (MAP kinase) biology; cell line engineering
including CRISPR, knockdown by shRNA or siRNA, and overexpression.
-Generate experimental designs and execute studies in the
laboratory to test hypotheses, as well as analyze data and
troubleshoot using prior experience with, or knowledge of, key
concepts in cancer, biology/cellular, molecular biology, and
immuno-oncology. Collaborate with colleagues in the oncology,
immuno-oncology, and assay development. - Present scientific
results to multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders. Mentor
colleagues on best practices in the laboratory.
Requirements: Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biology or a
related filed plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience showing
demonstrable ability in the skills set described above.
In lieu of Master's degree in Biotechnology, Biology or a related
filed plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate experience showing
demonstrable ability in the skills set described above, the
employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology, Biology
or a related filed plus 7 years of post-baccalaureate experience
showing demonstrable ability in the skills set described above.
