For more information, go to Summary The IT Systems Engineer will support information technology across Vizgen, including implementation of new technologies, setting up and managing systems and security initiatives, as well as handling desktop support. We are seeking a motivated IT professional with experience in a wide array of information systems and practices, such as networks, desktops, databases, cloud storage and computing, and information security. Responsibilities for the IT Systems Engineer Develop, manage, and monitor Vizgen's local and cloud infrastructure with a focus on Intune/Endpoint Manager, Autopilot, networking equipment, and other cloud-based applications. Automation: Write, document, and maintain PowerShell or bash scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on tasks Maintain and monitor security, backup, and redundancy strategies Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools Configure and secure Vizgen's network configuration, including partitioning VLANs, configuring routes, configuring SD-WAN, and maintaining and configuring VPN access. Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and security Monitor and test application performance for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with internal teams to implement those fixes Participate in the design of information and operational support systems Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution Technical escalation from Vizgen's MSP helpdesk team Document and maintain traceability for all configuration changes to Vizgen infrastructure Other duties as assigned or requested Qualifications of the IT Systems Engineer Strong experience with supporting a business office environment, including PC, copier, and telephone systems Experience configuring Meraki network devices, SD-WAN, and site-site and client VPN. Ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. (file boxes, computer printer). Experience with email security technologies and protocols such as ProofPoint, KnowBe4 PhishER, SMTP, IMAP, POP, SPF, TLS, S/MIME, digital signature, and email encryption Experience administering mailboxes, shared mailboxes, distribution groups, calendar permissions, room lists, and troubleshooting mail flow Experience managing secure file sharing, sensitivity/retention labels, DLP, and eDiscovery on AWS or GCP file storage services (S3, EFS, FSx for Lustre, etc) Experience administering group policy, compliance, and conditional access policies Experience with Windows 10, Windows Server, Intune, Ubuntu Linux, and Mobile Application Management. Experience implementing SSO with AzureAD Expert-level experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office and various cloud business applications (including SharePoint, Confluence, etc) and administering the Microsoft 365 platform. Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPN, SD-WAN, VLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, routing. Understanding of Information Security principles, policies, and technologies. Experience with scripting and automation languages, PowerShell, Microsoft Power Platform, and Microsoft Graph API (a plus). Excellent customer service, attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills. Must be a team player who enjoys collaborating with others to get things done. Demonstrated experience with Intune/Autopilot, EMSCO package management, and Microsoft Power Apps.
