Job Responsibilities/Description Global Compliance & Policy (GC&P) plays a critical role in providing oversite on Animal Welfare Compliance within the Client R&D platform. In addition, in vivo models play a critical role in the translation of basic scientific research into life-saving therapies for patients. Client is committed to the highest ethical standards and greatest scientific rigor in our research using in-vivo models. Clients preclinical R&D pipeline is supported by the Translational In Vivo Models (TIM) global research platform, which consists of veterinarians, scientists, and technicians with expertise in all phases of in vivo study execution from protocol design to data acquisition and interpretation, animal care and husbandry, bioimaging, transgenic model technology, pathology analysis, and the regulatory framework for animal use in research. We are seeking an experienced project coordinator to support the US GC&P program and help coordinate operational activities for our teams. Duties and Responsibilities: Work with Animal Welfare Assessment Core Team (AWACT) to revise/restructure the Contract Research Organization (CRO) database for consistency and comprehensibility. Update CRO database with new supplier information as needed Support AWACT with entering audits and reports into Phenix database. Work with AWACT on yearly action plan and update Animal Welfare Experts (AWEs) with upcoming assessments and site visits to ensure timelines are met Support IACUC Office functions including protocol reviews, assisting with internal inspections, database entry, policy and procedure review, assisting with IACUC meetings, reviewing regulatory reports, and other IACUC related activities Collaborate with GC&P team with the coordination of Global Events. Perform administrative duties for internal and external activities in coordination with GC&P processes Assist with other US-based tasks within GC&P as needed Preferred Qualifications Bachelors degree or 2+ years experience in a research setting 2+ years experience in an administrative role Background in Biological Sciences a strong advantage Successful candidates will possess: o Excellent verbal and written communication skills o Strong proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Power Point and Excel required o Ability to manage complex meeting arrangements o Ability to work independently and proficiently in a global, multi-site team environment. o Establishes and maintains good working relationships and internal networks with minimal direction. o Ability to focus on and manage successfully changing priorities dictated by a fast paced internal and external environment. o Ability to multi-task, exercise judgment, make decisions, and act to complete assignments in a fast-paced, changing work environment AALAS LATG, LAT, ALAT certification preferred
