Job Description

How you will Contribute:
Shift 6:00am to 6:30pm 2-2-3 schedule
You will perform basic to moderately complex GMP manufacturing operations using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Batch Records, bioprocessing manufacturing equipment and electronic manufacturing systems.
Primary responsibilities include the following
Perform basic GMP manufacturing activities and documentation Understand current GMP and safety standards Troubleshoot and resolve basic process related issues and escalate Enter data into and navigate electronic systems Provide communication to peers, senior associates, and area management Recognize operational documents are GMP compliant, accurate and complete; identify improvement opportunities Assembly and disassembly of process equipment Execution routine housekeeping activities Maintain training requirements Maintain personal development plan Cross-train, qualify in all Upstream operations What you bring to Takeda:
Requires a high school or GED diploma and 2+ years related industry experience or an Associate's Degree in Life Sciences/Engineering field with 1 year of GMP Manufacturing experience. Biotech Certificate a plus. May be asked to work holidays and overtime and adjust work schedule. Understand the safe performance including, bending, and chemical hazards. Ability to lift, pull up to 25-50 lbs, stand for 6 hours, climb ladders. May interact with all Internal Manufacturing, Materials Management. Technical Operations and Facilities Management with limited exposure to support groups (Quality Assurance, Validation, Quality Control, Process Development and Health, Safety & Environment)
Please be aware that this position is considered "Essential Personnel." This means that in the case of inclement weather (e.g. snow storm) You who occupies you may report to work for their normal shift if management deems necessary.
