All of Us is the cornerstone of the National Institutes of Health's Precision Medicine Initiative to prevent disease and develop individualized treatments that account for differences in lifestyle, environment, and biology through collaborations between researchers, health care providers and patients. About the Role Mass General Brigham is seeking a sociable, self-motivated, goal-driven, and creative professional to join our Engagement and Communications (EnCo) team. The focus of the EnCo team is to the support recruitment and retention efforts for the All of Us Research Program in New England by increasing awareness for the program both within the hospitals and in the external community. We do this by educating patients and the public about the importance of participating in health research, designing highly engaging educational events, and producing assets and communications to recruit patients and diverse external communities to join All of Us and stay involved for many years. You are the right person for this role if you are passionate about establishing community connections, well-organized, a detail-oriented planner who can balance multiple tasks and projects, technology proficient, and able to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented and collaborative environment. This role requires excellent communications skills as well as -demonstrated success engaging with diverse communities, and the ability to be creative, resourceful and think outside the box! What You'll Bring: - A deep commitment to and passion for the goals and impact of the All of Us Research Program - Strong relationship-builder and highly empathetic. - Understanding of Boston's local context, issues, and events. - Deep knowledge of trends, interests, issues, experiences in diverse communities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Public speaking skills - Comfortable with ambiguity and multitasking but capable of translating into organized systems and clean details. - Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. - Some experience with online collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams); conferencing tools (Zoom, Skype, Webex, or Google Meet); social media management platform (Hootsuite, Sendible, or Sprot Socia); survey tools (Survey Monkey or SurveyGizmo), and email marketing solution platforms (Sendiblue or Constant Contact). - Comfortable with a hybrid work environment, including work from home, in-office, in-state travel between Boston and area hospitals and community health centers for periodic meetings, presentations, and events when COVID safety guidelines allow. - Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends. What You'll Do: - Assist in the planning, logistics, content development, production, and delivery of all virtual and in-person events. - Assist in collecting and presenting key metrics, including engagement, and retention. - Assist in developing strategies to make a connection between the virtual and in-person experiences. - Assist with the development of printed and digital assets to encourage on-going involvement with the program by current participants. - Perform literature and asset searches for use in engagement and retention activities. - Assist with engagement and retention content writing. - Assist in analyzing and interpreting program data to translate into participant-friendly content for use in direct-to-participant communications. - Record meeting minutes, assign action items and follow up with members to ensure appropriate progress of tasks. Qualifications Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree required in Social Work, Public Health, Health education, Health Communication, or related field.
    • 1-3 years professional experience in community engagement, customer service, project management required.
    • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations.
    • Demonstrated experience or understanding of clinical research or academic research settings preferred.
    • Must demonstrate strong writing and editing skills, such as -data interpretation, inductive reasoning, creative, feature, and presentation writing, as well as collaboration.
    • Experience working with stakeholders such as disease-based communities or underrepresented communities preferred
    • Fluency in Spanish preferred.
    • Excellent oral and written communications skills. Writing samples will be requested.
    • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.
    • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds of equipment/supplies as needed.
