Program Coordinator

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director, Program Management, Syros Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Program Coordinator to support in the management of one or more development programs. The successful candidate will work in cross-functional product teams and with external vendors and collaborators to advance our development programs

Responsibilities

  • Partner with project leader(s)/program manager(s) to plan and coordinate cross functional project team discussions and activities
  • Partner with project leader(s)/program management and work closely with functional teams to support development and maintenance of program plans
  • Support external alliances and collaborations by providing oversight of contracts, budgets, and deliverables
  • Contribute to generation and maintenance of tools for tracking and communicating activities across teams
  • Enable pipeline and milestone decisions by accurately documenting and communicating program status and issues through key documents (monthly reports, timelines, minutes, etc.)
  • Provide project management support including development of meeting agendas, program timelines, and efficient follow-up on outstanding action items
  • Track progress against program plans, generate regular status updates, and communicate progress and issues to management

      Minimum Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
      • Experience in one or more drug development functions, such as clinical operations, CMC, toxicology, drug discovery, or assay generation in a biotechnology, pharmaceutical or academic environment is a plus
      • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse professionals including all the functional areas involved with development of new therapeutics (e.g. toxicology and other IND enabling groups, clinical research, clinical operations, clinical supply, manufacturing, regulatory affairs, medical writing and more)
      • Strong MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills for Program Management
