Graduate School of Education 54993BR Job Summary The Diversity,
Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Specialist will be a thought
partner to the director for DEIB to plan and execute on key DEIB
priorities. Job-Specific Responsibilities --- Work collaboratively
with the Director and other responsible leaders to provide research
and recommendations supporting best practices, developing content,
curriculum, toolkits, and cases.
--- Plan and create tools, presentations, and other material to
support on-going learning and programming.
--- Collaborate with the Associate Dean of Human Resource to plan
and deliver DEIB support to HGSE staff.
--- Review and analyze data for trends to inform decision making,
including putting information into presentation format highlighting
key areas of information.
--- Assist with offering the DEIB lens in department specific
meetings and consultations.
--- Facilitate affinity space(s) and conversations about DEIB with
faculty and staff, and students as needed.
--- Represent HGSE on internal and Harvard wide committees or
workgroups as needed.
--- Manage logistical details of all programming, events,
materials, communications, etc.
--- Responsible for DEIB website content and updates.
--- Other duties as needed

and on-campus work. Basic Qualifications Previous work experience
working specifically on issues of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and
Belonging. A cover letter must be submitted with your resume in

and Skills Deep knowledge about DEIB topics and identities in order
to educate and support the HGSE community; Exceptionally strong
communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to cultivate
and nurture strong and trusting relationships across a variety of
identities; familiarity with reporting tools and the ability to
analyze information; previous experience using technology to
facilitate and support DEIB initiatives; previous experience
facilitating difficult conversations about identity; Additional
