You have the opportunity to

Support the sales organization in winning profitable deals and increasing market share.  Key activities include providing product, clinical, technical, support tools and training to the field.  Provide the commercial teams with the direct support to order acquisition including presentations to customers and support at local market exhibitions. Attend tradeshows and manages customer visits.  Support the commercial team with all aspects of deal strategy including competitive positioning strategy, pricing strategy, presentation strategy and knowing when to bring in the right resources to close the deal.  Respond to product configuration and other product questions, competitive information, and product training. Seek out new ways and projects to drive sales efficiency and execute these projects.

Your Responsibilities

  • Increase the expertise and motivation of the local sales staff by providing relevant and up-to-date information about the products and competition, to create and maintain their faith in the superiority of the products.
  • Train the local key specialists on features, applications and trends.
  • Support the commercial presence on exhibitions and congresses, to keep in contact with key customers and visit customers, in order to maintain good insight in the region/territory and be able to optimize the support.
  • Support the order acquisition process by giving presentations to potential customers.
  • Facilitate communication to field marketing about the requirements and developments in the region or country that assist field marketing with the formulation of the marketing plans & tools for the region and for the central product creation unit. 
  • Notify field sales team of price changes, product enhancements, inventory status, lead times, demo, etc. Informs sales teams and distribution partners relative to product updates, promotion activity, and market and competitive news.
  • Manage discount envelope (price realization) for assigned regions and/or products.
  • Provide strategy and content input for Request for Proposals.
  • Capture, assess and act on win/loss analysis
  • Handle non-service customer issues/escalations in support of sales teams.

  • Competitive and entrepreneurial mind-set to drive sales growth in new and existing markets
  • Proven communication skills and ability to influence colleagues and customers
  • Collaborative mindset to work with cross-section of sales, marketing, analytics resources and Business Innovation Unit.  
  • Product technical/clinical and market expertise
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
  • 5+ years in related field preferably in one or more of the following: sales in high tech or healthcare/med-tech, information technology or clinical experience.
  • Travel 30% of time
