In this role, you have the opportunity to

As the Business Process Champion, you work to create Standardization of Marketing Processes tied to PEPF, Compliance with Q&R, Marketing Training, Process Improvements and Daily Management

  • Supports the Head of Marketing to ensure ways of working and operations are efficient and measured, leveraging specific marketing performance data
  • Ensure marketing processes are documented compliant to the PEPF, communicated and compliant
  • Ensure marketing training programs are localized by working closely with SMEs and training courses are completed in line with compliance requirements
  • Partner with global BPO/BPEs and local SMEs to document PEPF work instructions in line with PEPF

This role requires domain expertise as well as structured problem solving skills in order to be the leading change agent in transforming the way digital marketing & e-commerce activities are executed.

Develop, implement and drive continuous improvements of the standardized business capabilities for his/her expertise area. Process custodian and ensures adoption of proven practices. Capture learnings and actively share success within your community.

driving process optimization and standardization.  You will guide in developing, configuring and implementing the Business Process Framework for Philips and support the systems implementation in support of these processes, especially in the marketing and sales domains

You are responsible for

  • Distinguishes standard vs. unique business requirements for processes with the BG's and Markets, minimizing differentiation.
  • Manages periodic process audits; identifies issues and root causes.
  • Keeps up to date with industry standard and benchmarks and implements process best practices to the organization.
  • Delivers a harmonized global process design ensuring a successful execution of process design across work streams.
  • Has a clear view on the end-to-end processes and continuously seeks improvements to it.
  • Ensures full compliancy of process designs and drives standardized process design and alignment with other domains in the Philips Excellence Process Framework (PEPF) including: roles & competences, systems & tools, relevant process metrics & KPI’s

Process Design & Deployment

  • Manage definition of Insights & Analytics processes to ensure process standardization and simplification (Philips Excellence Process Framework levels L3/L4 “the what” and L5/L6 “the how”) including relevant documents (L7) and process performance metrics & KPI’s.
  • Leading the design, build and deployment of to-be and optimize current ways we manage Digital Marketing & E-Commerce
  • Be the process custodian, safeguarding standard work, facilitating best practice sharing, delivering real change
  • Drive adoption and maturity development through continuous improvement
  • Ensure marketing processes are embedded in PEPF & QMS (where applicable)
  • Work with capabilities and learning team to enable deployment of processes in marketing community
  • Process Performance tracking and engage with key subject matter experts (SMEs) and leaders in the organization to collect input for continuous improvement

You are part of

A newly formed team within Marketing Operations playing an essential role in defining and deploying an audience centric way of working in marketing across Cluster, Business, Market and Central to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing in Philips. This team will embed standard ways of working in the marketing organization, build a network of stakeholders and subject matter expert and drive continuous improvement to the defined standard. You will report to the Head of Marketing Operations.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • BA/BS degree with 5 + years experience in a technical/business related field
  • Bachelor or master degree
  • 10+ years’ experience working in Operational Role
  • 5+ years’ experience working in Commercial or Marketing function
  • Conceptual thinking and analytics
  • Track record in continuous improvement and change management (Lean, Problem Solving, Daily Management)
  • Experience in leading process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Hoshin or 6-sigma)
  • In?uencing and communication skills to challenge, educate, guide, convince and gain commitment at all levels
  • Solutions mind-set, able to tackle complex problems considering alternatives and consequences
  • Solid leadership and coaching skills, with cross-functional teams, using management by in?uence
  • Structured, organized and stress resilient personality able quickly to understand the issues and bring together necessary resources to resolve them
  • Proven track record in managing implementation of complex programs and motivation of teams.
  • Strong stakeholder, influencing and communication skills
