In this role, you have the opportunity to

Support Marketing Operations and Commercial Planning, Marketing Planning, Forecasting and Management. SPOR, Solutions Portfolio Management, AOP/BMC Planning processes management, standardization and integration across BMC.  Budgeting, Forecasting and Optimization, Budgetary compliance and attainment, forecast accuracy, Solutions Portfolio Handshake, Maturity of Solution Activation Readiness entering the market, capacity optimization

You are responsible for

  • Marketing planning, program discipline and program execution efforts as part of the primary business planning processes
  • Facilitates the Market’s annual planning processes, ensures coordination of the marketing plans
  • Supports the Head of Marketing to ensure ways of working and operations are efficient and measured, leveraging specific marketing performance data
  • Ensures that marketing measurement drives performance review of key functions and campaigns
  • Activate, deploy and manage solution planning process as part of the Solution Transformation Program, specifically...
  • Execution to Scale - Coordinate and execute on Market Strategy for new business models, First of Kind through scaling activities with Cluster BMSLs and all receiving organizations.  Manage intake and pipeline of new propositions
  • Drive Operational Excellence - Identify and prioritize cross-cluster solution enablement capabilities (e.g., operations, people, systems). Partner with finance and clusters to ensure meeting of NAM solution KPIs
  • Standard Work - Aligns solutions (products, services, systems, M&A, ventures) to the SPOR. Support alignment between solutions and enablers to ensure overall portfolio success

You are part of

A newly formed team within Marketing Operations playing an essential role in defining and deploying an audience centric way of working in marketing across Cluster, Business, Market and Central to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of marketing in Philips. This team will embed standard ways of working in the marketing organization, build a network of stakeholders and subject matter expert and drive continuous improvement to the defined standard. You will report to the Head of Marketing Operations.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience

  • BA/BS degree with 5 + years experience in a technical/business related field
  • Bachelor or master degree
  • 17+ years’ experience leading a commercial operations team
  • 5+ years’ experience working in Marketing
  • Able to build and nurture effective relationships within the matrix by developing cooperation with peers within the market and global functions                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            
  • Experience in integrated market planning and or program planning.
  • Strong operational and execution focus, driven by customer intimacy, Problem Solving skills.  Drives continuous improvement via Lean.                                                                                                                                                                
  • Experience as an integrator in a dynamic market and /or matrix organization
  • Experience to work in a business with complex market/channel structures
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of the company.
  • Ensures budgets and schedules meet corporate requirements.
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements
