We are seeking a Data Acquisition Coordinator on the Resources
team within Harvard Alumni Affairs and Development.
Alumni Affairs and Development (AA&D) comprises the
University Development Office (UDO), Faculty of Arts and Sciences
(FAS) Development, AA&D Resources, and the Harvard Alumni
Association (HAA). There is a unique relationship between the
University and the FAS fundraising operations, resulting from a
long history in which University fundraising ultimately grew out of
AA&D Resources encompasses teams that support all units
across AA&D plus all schools and units across the University.
AA&D Resources includes Technology and Support Services,
Business Process and Operations, Alumni and Development Services
(ADS), Administration and Finance, Events, Communications Creative
Services, Research and Prospect Management, Human Resources, and
the AA&D Talent Program.
As a member of the Business Process & Operations team, this
full-time, non-exempt position is responsible for providing support
on projects involving retrieving, assessing, prepping and
batch-loading confidential information, working with AAD Enterprise
Applications such as Advance and Workfront. This role also provides
administrative support for Data Governance and will work closely
with the Director on Engagement Flagging and other related
projects. The position collaborates with the Data Acquisition
Analyst to prepare information in alignment with approved
specifications and processes, and ensures all uploads and updates
are managed in a timely and accurate manner, and will support the
Data Acquisition Manager on projects and priorities. The position
requires the ability to develop an understanding of Alumni Affairs
and Development data, especially biographic data, as well as the
business purposes and policies regarding data usage, data analysis
