The Senior Educational Technologist will be responsible for the
deployment of innovative tools and curricula, to be used by Harvard
College's largest course, Computer Science 50 (CS50): Introduction
to Computer Science I, and more broadly in courses taught by other
faculty members. The Technologist will report academically to the
principal course instructor for CS50 and will work closely with
other faculty members and departments across campus interested in
integrating new pedagogical approaches and technologies into
This position will offer opportunities for experimentation with
the latest technologies and will involve deployment of
non-traditional solutions to pedagogical problems. Ideal candidates
will have strong backgrounds in software as well as interest in the
production of educational content.
