Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred. + Experience and comfort level working within technology platforms a plus. Additional Information:This position is approved for a 2-year term (with possibility of renewal/extension) which begins on the person's first day of employment. This 2-year term limit does not apply to current Harvard employees. During the current period of COVID-19 related restrictions, this position may start as a remote position with the transition to onsite at HBS campus in Boston, MA when the office reopens. Explore more about HBS work culture here (bs.edu/employment) .Department:MBAPre-Employment Screening:Identity Job Function:General Administration Job-Specific Responsibilities:The Program Coordinator of the Career Education & Coaching (CEC) team, supports the mission of HBS Career and Professional Development (CPD) by managing student and alumni career education programs, including large-scale multi-program events throughout the year. The coordinator will manage the key relationships between the CPD office and students. The Coordinator is responsible for organizing the development of industry-specific resources and virtual career programming and for exploring and implementing new program delivery methods to provide students and alumni with customized programs and resources. WHAT YOULL DO: + Coordinate career education programs and resources for students. + Bring a high level of detail orientation at all times and ensure flawless execution of programs and events. + Own the Programs Tracker; responsible for ensuring all programs are accurately listed and post-program data is entered in a timely manner. + Program Coordination: + Lead Welcome Back programming for 2nd year students + Lead planning and logistics for industry specific and specialty programs. Liaise with industry sector manager(s), students and vendors for targeted delivery. Drive innovation, when appropriate. + Responsible for content, resources and programs offered to students during pre-matriculation. + Program Support: + Career Days Programming: Support Programs Manager with planning and logistics for all Career Days programming. Career Days is our premier event to kick off Industry Education for incoming MBA students. + 1st Year Section Connection Programming: Support Programs Manager with scheduling and logistics for all Section Connection Programming + Industry-specific interview prep and mock interview programs: Support Programs Manager with logistics, student worker onboarding and billing. Website and Communications: + Liaise with the Programs Manager and CPD Marketing team to ensure content is posted to CPD website in a timely manner; owns video transcription process. + Own Career Communications Book: Update and distribute book and content. Support career education programs and resources for alumni: + Support Programs Manager with Alumni program logistics, including CVENT management and CyberSource support. Billing and invoicing: + Owns Programs Invoicing; Submits invoices to B2P for Director approval; communicates with vendors re: payment questions Evolve portfolio of relevant programs and resources for students: + Research and identify topics, resources and presenters for new student digital programming. Topics include professional development programs, online/virtual tools to support the career development and job search process; curriculum development, as needed. General CPD: + Assist with Wilder First Floor coverage. + Support select CPD projects and programs. + Other duties as assigned.
