Department:Franois-Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) CenterPre-Employment Screening:Identity Job Function:General Administration Job-Specific Responsibilities: The STRIDE Program Coordinator will be responsible for a wide range of complex and confidential administrative duties to support the management and smooth operations of the program, communicating with numerous internal and external constituents as the central point of contact. This individual will proactively anticipate and resolve problems, and update the FXB management on the status of the STRIDE project. Specific responsibilities and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: + Developing an overarching system to holistically keep track of STRIDE project deliverables and timelines of program Fellows and Community Engagement Manager, ensuring smooth operations. Overlaying and tracking key STRIDE deadlines and required milestones; regularly updating FXB Executive Director on the STRIDE program status + Having a strong understanding of the grant requirements and serving as the principal source of contact and information on STRIDE program updates and policies; communicating this to faculty, fellows, students and staff as questions arise + Ensuring the Assistant Finance Director has all the information needed for budget and grant reporting. This includes keeping track of and filing receipts for any program related purchases or expenditures, and providing ongoing assistance in gathering and organizing the needed information to monitor and ensure compliance with University and grant requirements + Acting as the key liaison between the STRIDE program and FXB Staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day flow of communications related to the program, helping to create linkages across the organization and facilitating updates as relevant. + Drafting, editing and preparing STRIDE correspondence, memos, program updates for the website and newsletter. May assist in report writing and occasional development of marketing materials for internal and external STRIDE events as needed + Organizing STRIDE status meetings for the FXB Fellows and broader staff as needed to ensure smooth operations and to help foster engagement. Curating relevant articles and content across various sources/fellows/staff and sharing with the STRIDE Fellows and Community Engagement Manager as appropriate + As the key administrative point of contact for STRIDE Fellows, assisting the Fellows in equipment purchasing, scheduling, and basic IT needs; handling Concur and Buy-To-Pay transactions + Leading logistics for any planned STRIDE seminars/events including managing invitations, scheduling, arranging classroom or conference area space (or leading zoom coordination), coordinating AV and IT needs, food and other facility needs as required, and ensuring this is done on time and within the given budget + Performing other duties as assigned PLEASE NOTE: This position has a term end date of two years from date of hire, with the possibility for extension. PLEASE NOTE: The primary work location for this position is Boston, Massachusetts. The STRIDE Program Coordinator will support the FXB Center's newly-created "Structural Racism Initiative for Diversity with Equity" (STRIDE) program. The overarching goal of the STRIDE program is to build capacity of the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights to become a leading center dedicated to research on structural racism and health in the United States by generating evidence on structural racism and health in four critical areas: 1.) Police violence and the carceral state 2.) Redlining and residential segregation 3.) Exposure to environmental hazards and unhealthy work environments and 4.) Unequal health care. The STRIDE Program Coordinator will support the four STRIDE Fellows, Faculty, Community Engagement Manager, and other key FXB Staff to ensure smooth operations and administrative execution of the program.
