As a Global Brand Lead working on the Rare Genetics and Hematology team, you will be empowered to define and implement global tactics to support best in class commercialization. In this role, you will contribute to Takeda's mission by collaborating across the global brand team, functions and regions in order to drive the commercialization agenda. A typical day will include: POSITION OBJECTIVES: Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise- Seasoned marketer with both pipeline and in-line brand experience at national and global levels, who can autonomously work and lead branding and pre-launch activities. Leadership- Insight and evidence based leadership with ability to articulate vision and align the team toward the pursuit of shared goals. Decision-making and Autonomy-Collaborative problem-solver, confident to share his/her ideas with all level of management. Will seek management approval prior to committing resources or making irreversible decision. Interaction-Highly-collaborative leader with experience working cross-functionally and cross-culturally. Innovation-Knowledge and experience with digital engagements among both patients and HCPs is seen as essential to developing impactful pre-launch and launch activities. Complexity-Cross-indications strategy and tactics optimization between cTTP, iTTP (Congenital & Immune Thrombotic Thrombocytopenic Purpura) and SCD (sickle cell disease) in a complex access environment associated to a 1st in class therapy.-- POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Provide strategic direction, prioritize resources and gain support from the cross-functional global brand team (GBT) to ensure successful launches and related commercialization efforts
  • Contribute to the development of all marketing plans including the annual Global Brand Plan in line with the target product positioning, strategies, and goals; partner with core global team leads and LOC affiliates to ensure delivery of the Global Brand Plan
  • Define and implement specific marketing initiatives in partnership with the GBT, including unbranded initiatives related to disease education and TTP diagnosis as well as branded, promotional campaigns based upon indication its SMPC (Summary of a product characteristics) & USPI (US Prescribing Information).
  • Drive activities with Global Agency of Record in support of the development and management of the commercial campaign and resources for launch readiness;
  • Lead the implementation of impactful programs which communicate the risk/benefit profile and highlight treatment considerations for eligible patients
  • Lead the identification and management of critical issues/risks for internal customers (R&D, Regions, and LOCs) and create market-shaping and brand development solutions EDUCATION, BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
    • Undergraduate degree in business, science, or related discipline required. An advanced degree (MD or MBA) is preferred.
    • 10 years pharma/biotech industry experience and 5+ years product marketing experience.
    • Previous rare disease or hematology launch experience is preferred.
    • International product commercialization experience of 3+ years is required with demonstrated experience managing brand initiatives across a variety of cultures and languages. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
