Job Description:
3 hour a week (Friday) position teaching tech literacy at a fun
tech program for kids 7-12 in Boston. Position will age into full
time position next year. Goals: By the end of the pilot, Learners
will be able to test their knowledge during the Upgrade Challenge
to see if they have what it takes to become a kilobyte. Learners
will: Learn the Alphabyte Learn and advance in typing speed and key
memory Learn the Fun-demntals of coding sequences by building and
testing lines of code in their own game creations. Learn problem
solving and teambuilding by forming teams and building code
sequences together to create a game. Learn how coding, programming
and engineering apply to our everyday lives.
