Job Description The Global Product Development and
Commercialization PDC teams lead an integrated, cross-functional
product strategy that incorporates patient experience and
priorities, acts as a single enterprise-wide point of
accountability across functions for executing decisions to drive
long term product success, and champions and maximizes the value of
We currently seek an experienced Sr. Manager or Associate
Director to join our Global ALS PDC team as the Global Launch
Excellence Lead to support the launches of investigational
therapies for the treatment of ALS.
The incumbent will work extensively with the global PDC
Commercial, Market Access, Medical, and Regional/Affiliates teams
as well as other global functions on the PDC team. He/She will be
expected to collaborate effectively, be cognizant of key
differences across geographies and be able to co-ordinate
pre-launch activities among highly matrixed and geographically
Key responsibilities include:
Launch Excellence, planning and tracking
Drive the creation and execution of Global operational launch
plans for Tofersen.
Set up planning tool for the tracking of integrated launch
activities between the regional commercial leads and global key
functions, ensuring key milestones and objectives are clearly
established, communicated and tracked.
Collaborate with commercial, value & access, medical, supply
chain, regulatory, and clinical teams to track all activities on
the critical path to access across the globe, ensuring timely
delivery and execution.
Ensure global and regional responsibilities are understood,
risks are identified, progress is measured, and plans are updated
and adapted as necessary.
Maintain a common share-point site, and updated score card,
ensuring assumptions and decisions are catalogued and up to
Launch Readiness and Scenario Planning :
Drive launch sequencing strategy.
Facilitate Global launch operational teams partnering with
regional/affiliate teams to prepare for launch and support local
planning & tactic development/ execution ensuring efficient conduct
and follow through.
Drive preparation of mitigations plans and upside/downside
scenarios modelling in close collaboration with finance,
forecasting/customer insights, commercial, V&A team to reflect
internal & external changes.
Strategic Launch Readiness Initiatives :
Drive and execute on strategic launch readiness initiatives as
required, including patient identification, digital and device
Qualifications Experience in:
Global/Regional/Local marketing, global launches or commercial
Experience in rare disease a plus
Ability to work effectively in complex matrix environment and
Ability to lead a large cross functional team to develop and
execute a strategy without direct reporting responsibility
Excellent project management, teamwork, collaboration and
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in
Education: BS in marketing/biological sciences (MBA
