Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a highly skilled CDL Driver equipped
with a Class A license and Hazmat endorsement, dedicated to
providing dependable transportation and handling of hazardous
materials. Join our team committed to safety and sustainability,
and contribute directly to protecting the environment by ensuring
the safe transport and disposal of hazardous substances. Operate
Class A vehicles in compliance with local, state, and federal
regulations. Safely load, transport, and unload hazardous
materials, ensuring all handling requirements are met. Conduct
pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and operational
efficiency of vehicles and equipment. Maintain accurate logs of
working hours and vehicle service reports, adhering to DOT
regulations. Respond quickly to dispatch instructions and complete
scheduled pickups and deliveries in a timely manner. Collaborate
with route managers to improve service and identify potential risks
on the road. Ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance
of equipment, reporting any malfunctions or incidents. Proven
ability to operate a variety of vehicle types and sizes in all
weather conditions. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and
safety standards for handling hazardous materials. Excellent
organizational and time management skills. Ability to maintain
accurate logs and records. Effective communication and
