Network Engineer, Senior The Opportunity : We are seeking a
Network Engineer to support the design, deployment, and maintenance
of enterprise and tactical networks for the Department of War ( DoW
) . This is an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in
wireless networking, SD-WAN, and cybersecurity to build secure and
resilient infrastructure that directly impacts mission readiness
and quality-of-life for military personnel and their families. You
will be part of a dedicated team addressing critical communication
challenges and driving innovation across enterprise and tactical
environments. In this role, you will work on meaningful projects
that emphasize mission-critical connectivity and strategic
initiatives, enabling secure and scalable networking for the DoW.
As the lead expert, you’ll collaborate across IT teams to develop
and optimize infrastructure that aligns with DoW cybersecurity
compliance standards while supporting day-to-day operations and
enhancing mission readiness. What You'll Do: Design, implement, and
maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN,
WLAN, data center connectivity, and SD-WAN solutions. Configure,
manage, and troubleshoot Aruba wireless LANs, controllers, access
points, ClearPass, and SD-WAN technologies such as Aruba
EdgeConnect. C ond uct network performance tuning, analyze packet
data using tools like Wireshark, and troubleshoot escalated network
issues. Perform and document cybersecurity vulnerability scans,
ensuring compliance with DoW IA standards and STIGs. Develop and
maintain accurate network documentation, diagrams, and technical
designs. Assess and optimize network resiliency and availability
through proactive monitoring and automated configurations. Join us.
The world can’t wait. You Have: Experience with Aruba or Cisco
wireless solutions and SD-WAN technologies such as Aruba
EdgeConnect or Juniper SSR Experience analyzing and troubleshooting
networks using tools such as SolarWinds, tcpdump, and Wireshark
Knowledge of routing protocols such as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, or BGP,
and data network protocols, including ARP, DHCP, HTTP, SNMP, and
TCP / IP Knowledge of network transport mediums, including fiber
and copper, networking backbones, including physical, data,
network, and transport, wireless communication infrastructure
equipment and services, and network security devices and
applications Knowledge of DoW cybersecurity compliance standards,
STIGs, and IA requirements Ability to create and maintain network
documentation and diagrams Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Secret clearance HS diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in
networking roles, or Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience in
networking roles IAT level II Certification Nice If You Have:
Experience with network security tools such as Palo Alto or
Fortinet firewalls Experience with scripting or automation using
tools such as Python or Ansible Knowledge of cloud networking
technologies, including AWS, Azure, or GCP DoW 8570 Compliance
Certification s such as CompTIA Security, Network, or CCNA
Certification Industry Certification s such as Aruba Certified
Mobility Asso cia te ( ACMA ) or Cisco Certified Networking Asso
cia te ( CCNA ) Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including
but not limited to location, the individual’s particular
combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and
experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and
organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for
this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The
estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this
position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total
compensation package for employees. This posting will close within
