Job Description:
About the Role: We're looking for a hands-on Hardware Manager to
build, own, and scale our production hardware infrastructure from
the ground up. This is not a legacy-plant maintenance role — this
is a builder role. You will be responsible for ensuring our
hardware systems are reliable, scalable, and continuously improving
as we grow into new markets. You'll operate at the intersection of
mechanical systems, electrical components, and software
integration, helping us move fast without sacrificing uptime. This
role reports to the Sr. Regional Operations Manager and can work at
either our Massachusetts or New York offices, with travel to
support new market launches and system deployments. If you thrive

What You'll Do: Hardware Management Oversee the setup, testing,
installation, maintenance, and repair of hardware, including
sensors, scanners, industrial printers, and related production
devices. Design and produce custom parts using CAD and 3D printing
to support rapid prototyping, repairs, and operational
improvements. Manage and maintain complex equipment, including
motors, breakers, starters, variable speed drives, process control
devices, instrumentation, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical
components. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair malfunctioning
machinery, replacing components as needed. Perform routine
maintenance, testing, and calibration of equipment to ensure
optimal performance. including motors and electrical components.
Train and support field teams on maintenance, troubleshooting, and
technical support to maximize uptime. Ensure seamless hardware and
software integration with IT infrastructure. Maintain up-to-date
documentation of configurations, installations, and maintenance
procedures. Ability to calibrate process control instruments tight
tolerances using calibration equipment Install and maintain wiring,
switches, relays, and circuit breakers. Partner with 3rd-party
vendors to drive hardware innovation and optimize production
processes. Evaluate new technologies and recommend upgrades or
replacements. Maintain asset management records for all hardware
and keep accurate records of repairs and services. Project
Management Lead technical hardware projects from planning to
execution, ensuring timely and budget-conscious completion
Collaborate with cross-functional to ensure seamless integration of
hardware and systems, including supporting new market launches.
Create and update process documentation, including work
instructions and checklists. You Ideally Have: 5–7 years in
hardware, industrial maintenance, automation, robotics, or a
similar environment Hands-on experience with 3D printing and rapid
prototyping to design and produce custom parts or fixtures
Experience operating in Linux environments or understanding of C++
a plus Deep hands-on troubleshooting ability across mechanical and
electrical systems Experience with calibration and repair of
complex industrial hardware Working knowledge of hydraulics and
pneumatics Comfort operating independently without rigid structure
Willingness to travel up to 20% (including internationally)
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and
