Job Description:
CHEP, a Brambles company, pioneers in providing eco-friendly
supply chain solutions, seeks an experienced Automation Technician
to enhance the efficiency of our global operations. The ideal
candidate will be responsible for maintaining and improving the
automation processes used in the handling, maintenance, and
transportation of our diverse range of pallets and containers. This
role is crucial in ensuring that our services remain sustainable
and effective, leveraging innovative technology to keep us at the
forefront of the logistics industry. Perform regular maintenance
and upgrades on automation machinery and systems. Troubleshoot and
resolve issues with automation equipment. Implement new automation
technologies to increase productivity and sustainability.
Collaborate with engineering teams to design and test new
automation solutions. Ensure compliance with safety standards and
protocols. Provide technical support and training to other
maintenance staff. Proficiency with programmable logic controllers
(PLCs). Experience with robotics and mechanical systems. Strong
problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and
interpret technical documents and schematics. Familiarity with
industrial networking and data acquisition technologies. Medical

Certified Automation Professional (CAP) preferred. Certification in
PLC programming or Robotics might be beneficial.
