Description
Robert Half is looking for a Senior Software Engineer for a mission-driven startup here in Boston. This is a full-time, direct-hire position that will be working in Python (Django) and AWS to build infrastructure to support production quality machine learning models and large-scale data. This is a hybrid position in the Greater Boston area.

  Develop and update the backend code

  Write, design, and implement code using Python and other technologies
  
  
• 
  Confer with management and cross-functional teams in the development process from start to finish
  
  
• 
  Develop and execute unit test for product components
  
  
• 
  Work with QA Technicians to resolve issues before going live
  
  
• 
  Troubleshoot and debug applications that occur outside of the regular release cycle
  
  
  Requirements
  
  • 
    
  • 
    5-10 years of experience building scalable, high-quality systems preferably using Python/Django or other similar web framework technologies like Ruby/Rails, etc.
    
    
  • 
    Experience creating, maintaining, and securing RESTful APIs
    
    
  • 
    Experience developing for AWS
    
    
  • 
    Familiarity with Docker containers
    
    
  • 
    Strong problem-solving skills and fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, and design patterns
    
    
  • 
    Strong collaborative skills and experience leading projects
    
    
  • 
    You are comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment
    
    
  • 
    Experience building infrastructure to support production quality machine learning models is a PLUS!
