The Draper Enterprise Applications Team is seeking a Principal
business intelligence developer. This role will play a critical
part in the modernization of Draper's business intelligence
capability.
Responsibilities
Maximize the utility of Microstrategy 2020 functionality, including
Cubes, Dossier, Library, Platform Analytics, and more.
Collaborate with Enterprise Applications team to execute long term
strategy to align business intelligence function with Draper
strategy and goals.
Support ongoing integration with source systems, including
PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS, IBM Planning Analytics, Deltek
Vantagepoint, and Dassault Systems 3DExperience Platform.
Design, implement, and support Microstrategy security model
Support business intelligence related infrastructure
Conduct unit testing
Maintain technical documentation
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or
Computer Science
5+ years' experience architecting MicroStrategy schema layer
(attributes, facts, hierarchies, security filters)
Advanced understanding of MicroStrategy modules: Desktop,
Administrator (Command Manager, Object Manager, Platform
Analytics), Distribution Services, Library, Dossier
Experience applying data science tools and techniques to maximize
the business value of data
Experience with relational database concepts, SQL, PeopleSoft App
Engine, Informatica ETL
Must be able to analyze user requirements and translate them into
Microstrategy reports and dashboards
Ability to work individually and in a team-oriented, collaborative
environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
