Type: Full-time The OpportunityReporting to the HRIS Manager, the
Human Resources Information System (HRIS) Analyst is a primary
point of contact for all HR reporting and data requests. The HRIS
Analyst serves as a resource to the HR Office as well as to all
departments and community members. With a key focus on data
quality, consistency, and accuracy, the HRIS Analyst provides
current and predictive analyses to support compliance and decision
making. The HRIS Analyst will have the opportunity to work on a
variety of HR projects, broadening their exposure to HR issues and
policies. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide analytical and technical
support for HRIS initiatives and other employee resource management
related responsibilities.Function as Tier II responder to HRIS
related issues.Administer data entry, data extraction and auditing
functions to ensure integrity of all data repositories. Implement
processes to ensure routine auditing of data elements within the HR
system and provide constructive feedback to end users as
needed.Participate in the development, testing, implementation, and
optimization of HR technology solutions. Audits HR data to ensure
compliance of Federal and State regulations, as well as university
policies. Continuously analyze, reengineer and streamline
cross-functional processes and workflow. Collaborate with vendors
and users to provide problem-solving, system & business analysis
and technology driven solutions with a customer service
concentration.Conduct user acceptance testing as part of the
information system upgrade process.Support implementation
initiatives to include configuration, specifications, testing,
documentation, and business and system analysis.Support the HRIS
Manager and Director of Human Resources in department and program
assessments, data analysis and reporting.Troubleshoot, analyze,
detect, identify and correct technical problems and
deficiencies.Creates and modifies reports as needed.Develop end
user training documents for ease of HRIS system use and conduct ad
hoc training either one on one or in group settings as
needed.Participate in the development of, and advise management on,
information technology strategy and technology deployment.Function
as a key resource in data entry and assessment to include
onboarding and offboarding activities.Assist with any other duties
needed to help drive the university's vision, mission, and abide by

successful candidate will have:Bachelor's Degree in Computer
Science, Information Systems, Human Resources or related field; IT
certification preferredOne to three years human resources
experience performing a technical role. Strong computer technical
background and knowledge of HRIS systems (WorkDay, ADP, PeopleSoft,
Kronos, SAP, etc.), web technology and database applications.
Understanding and familiarity with data integration
functionalityExcellent interpersonal skills including listening,
speaking and writing. Excellent problem-solving skills.Demonstrated
