If so, lets talk.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesThe Technical Solution Architect will be responsible for driving Software Networking (SN) technology SalesSpecific responsibilities include:Responsible for managing the customer GTM more from technical - Solution architectureLead the technical solution offerings / sales with support from SN BU and other parts of IBMBuild and deepen key stakeholder relationships with the customers at all levels including CTO, NW Heads, Principal Architects and Service Integrators both internal and external partnership channelsExecute the Technical Sales strategy in alignment with other SN BU teams to position SN technology direct with the customers and also via SI partnership channelsQuickly respond on customer requirements and sales team with solution/use case offeringsLead Customer PoV discussions and execute along with SDN BU teamsCapture customer technical requirements and if not included in current product roadmap qualify in sales funnel and discuss with SN BU strategy and product teams for additionActively lead and drive individual technical sales opportunitiesPresent IBM Software Networking 5G/Edge/Enterprise Strategy and SN technology/ecosystem landscapeWork collaboratively in a highly matrixed environment across IBMMaintain new technology skills and offering knowledge in relation to 5G, MEC, Private 5G , ORAN , Hybrid Cloud, Network Automation , Service assurance and adjacent technologiesRequired Technical and Professional Expertise10+ years solution architecture/design/build - technical selling telco network/enterprise multi cloud, network automation etc. technology solutionsStrong technical and handson skills on 5G , public and private , virtual/containers - k8s, E2E orchestration and network automation by providing value to the customersSelf-starter, driven, creative, 'own-it' mentality without the need for hands-on management'Outside-in' mentality; proactively build and present the solution offeringsTeam-player, open and honestNew Technology aware; ability to understand/articulate Telco Network concepts and core markets/solutions such as 5G Slicing, ORAN, Networking & analytics, Enterprise connectivityDemonstrated strong understanding and of technical concepts regarding applications, infrastructure, cloud, data center and virtualization and how they solve customer painsExceptional communication, presentation and consultative skillsKnowledge of adjacent IBM technologies - IBM Cloud Pak for Network automation and Watson AIOpsWell updated with TMFORUM, 3GPP, ORAN Alliance, Linux foundation, ETSI etc. - prefer contributions if anyPreferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseN/AAbout Business UnitIBM's Cloud and Cognitive software business is committed to bringing the power of IBM's Cloud and Watson/AI technologies to life for our clients and ecosystem partners around the world.
