This position can be remote or located at our Cambridge, Massachusetts office, which is accessible by public transportation.What We're Looking ForWe're seeking a full-time Junior Technical Project Coordinator to join our Population Health team. The person in this position will coordinate changes to the production environment, including database schema changes, data updates, deployment of builds to web and application servers, and procedure changes. This person will help ensure source control tools are used effectively, and that code, builds, and application configuration files reflect planned changes. This position includes working closely with engineering and business analysis team members to ensure that changes are properly documented and reviewed prior to implementation.We're looking for a detail-oriented person who enjoys working as part of a team. The ideal candidate is highly organized and can assist with the development of project scope, deliverables, timelines, and ensure work is being done consistently and effectively, working on several projects simultaneously and managing priorities among tasks. This position also includes working with team members to ensure proper scheduling and execution, gathering and maintaining documentation, and assisting with project management. This person will be detail-oriented, possess strong communication skills, and be able to organize and prioritize tasks. Interest in the field of public health, data science, and population health research methodology is a plus.Responsibilities

  • Coordinate project activities, resources, and deliverables
  • Monitor and track documents and resources, and maintain records in accordance with established procedures
  • Ensure projects and team members have the tools, equipment, and information necessary to accomplish tasks
  • Develop written communication and documentation for users and for internal use
  • Review project deliverables for accuracy
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning in the path of day-to-day work
  • Additional duties, as assignedMinimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree and 1 year related work experience or equivalent work experience in a related field
    • Knowledge and understanding of project management tools and standards such as JIRA/Confluence and Sharepoint preferred
    • Ability to multi-task effectively and work in a team-driven environment
    • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks; also, flexibility and willingness to accept changes in priorities
    • Strong documentation/writing skills
    • Experience in problem-solving and the ability to balance competing priorities
    • Critical attention to detail and accuracy
    • Must be a self-sufficient self-starter able to learn quickly and know when to ask questions
