We are seeking aSoftware Engineer to join our Systems & Technology
group within the Human Services business unit in the following
office locations: Chicago, IL; Princeton, NJ; Washington, DC;
Cambridge, MA; Ann Arbor, MI; Oakland, CA; Seattle, WA; Tucson, AZ;
Woodlawn, MD; or remote. We are open to candidates with three or
more years of experience using a variety of technologies including
.NET and SQL Server. You will collaborate with project teams and
will be self-driven to learn, push new ideas, and teach others. At

will: Work with a senior programmer on multiple projects at a
timeAssist with the design and build-out of web-based applications
for Mathematica clients as well as internal usersDesign and build
applications with simple user experiencesMaintain and enhance
existing software and apply it to new projectsWork with
infrastructure staff to support migration to AWSWrite testable
software, with a focus on incremental innovationWork with project
teams and end users to understand requirements for various
projectsConduct and participate in code reviewsDocument, maintain,
and support application functionalityWork both independently and on
a teamPosition Requirements: Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in
Computer Science or other relevant field or equivalent experience3+
years of professional experience as a Software Developer or similar
roleKnowledge of at least one of the .NET languages such as C# and
Visual Basic .NETProficient with front-end development languages
including JavaScript, HTML5 and CSSKnowledgeable with Relational
Databases and their schemas3+ years of SQLProvide valid inputs in
database architectural discussionsTroubleshoot complex database
issues in a timely fashionProvide programmatic guidance and support
to team members when neededAbility to work with technical and
non-technical staff on various projectsAbility to work on more than
one project at a timeBe self-driven to learn, push new ideas, and
teach othersStrong communication skillsStrong organizational skills
and attention to detailNice-to-have Skills: Working knowledge of
JavaScript frameworks and modern web technologies such as Angular
2+, d3.js, Vue/Vuex, React, Redux, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, or other
open-source toolsProficiency in a server-side language (Node.js,
Python, PHP, C#)Experience in AWS and its various services such as
EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudFormation, DynamoDB, CodeBuild,
etc.Secure coding, DevSecOps/CI/CD, 508 compliant codeExperience
with modern source, build, and deploy toolsExperience in creating
wireframes for prototyping needsClient-facing roles, consulting
skills This position offers an anticipated annual base salary range
of $75,000-$100,000. This position may be eligible for a
discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
