At Charles River Analytics, we take great pride in our success at attracting and retaining the most talented and creative problem-solvers in the field. We are a 100% employee-owned company, encouraging participation, innovation, and responsibility from our entire staff. Our work spans human physiology, neuroimaging, concussion detection, VR/AR, machine learning, and probabilistic modeling. The latest and greatest in cutting edge applied machine learning and software engineering? We do that!We are looking for a software engineer experienced with computational modeling of time series data, and machine learning techniques who can contribute to the development of software and hardware systems aimed at interpreting information provided by body-worn sensors and wearable devices such as Fitbits and iWatches, as well as the development of new wearables such as sensors embedded into the fabric of gloves or shirts. The successful applicant will have thought beyond training and testing a model and have worked to deploy machine learning solutions in real-world and resource-constrained environments. This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial-minded individual with an interest in developing cutting-edge solutions to America's most challenging problems. This position is one that is best suited to an independent thinker with an entrepreneurial drive, who has a track record of self-motivated investigation and tinkering, and who has a passion for ideation and pushing technical boundaries. There is ample opportunity to contribute to multiple projects, grow into leadership positions within the company, and pursue your passions! If you tinker and have pursued non-work or non-school related projects simply because you like building things, and are not afraid of the challenges associated with exploring and learning outside of your comfort zone, we want to hear from you.
