The Broad's research is pursued through a blend of academic and industrial-scale production of genetic, biological, and chemical outputs, with scientists from Broad, MIT, Harvard, and the Harvard-affiliated hospitals working side-by-side.The Senior HR Partner role offers a blend of strategic initiatives, OD projects and management and mentoring of People Partners and Associate People PartnersKey Responsibilities:* Provides strategic partnership, guidance and advice on people management; determines root causes of issues and recommends appropriate plans to optimize talent, structure and culture.* Manages and mentors other members of the Human Resources Partner team, providing guidance, direction and professional development opportunities.* Serves as a coach to develop skills and competencies in managers / leaders.* Acts as an internal consultant and strategic thought partner to managers/leaders by establishing trust and credibility as a valuable sounding board on organizational and people issues.* Provides expertise in facilitating employee relations challenges in a positive and proactive manner by listening, conducting objective investigations, making recommendations, and providing feedback to ensure appropriate resolution and follow through.* Recommends new approaches, strategies, and best practices to ensure continual improvements in people and organizational development.* Utilizes data and analytics to inform key people decisions and enhance organizational capabilities.Requirements:* 6+ years of progressive HR experience in a HR partner role with knowledge across multiple HR disciplines.* 2+ years of people management experience.The Broad Institute will not offer visa sponsorship for this opportunity.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability or protected veteran status.EEO is The Law - click here for more informationEqual Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/DisabledCheck out this video for a look into our community!
