Job Description Our client, a well known pharma/biotech company dedicated to Oncology is now adding to their terrific team! We are currently looking for a Director/Senior Director of Human Resources to join them! This is a full-time position with the company and will be office based (with some flexibility for a hybrid schedule) in Cambridge, MA. Must have experience working in Pharmaceutical or Biotech, and start up experience is a plus!

    We are actively searching for a Director of Human Resources who will lead the Human Resources Division. Reporting to the CEO and being part of the leadership team, the HR Director/Senior Director will provide general service and support in the areas of policy development and implementation, assist with coaching supervisors and managers, benefits, employee relations and other areas. To be successful, candidates will have a proven track record with being transparent when communicating with internal and external customers while leading the HR team in a pharmaceutical setting.

    Responsibilities
    --- Partner with and advise senior leaders with all people related items while leading the HR Function.
    --- Drive and provide transparent communication for both internal and external customer bases.
    --- Create the HR Department roadmap inclusive of additional headcount needed to support the HR Function and other general responsibilities.
    --- Develop and implement standard operating procedures in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws.
    --- Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
    --- Implements new hire orientation and employee recognition programs.
    --- Establish a compensation plan that ensures competitive pay rates to attract and retain talent and structured to attain internal equity in pay ranges.
    --- Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
    --- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    --- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-
    harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
    --- Oversee Payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of transaction including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes and other deductions.
    --- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    --- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
    --- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and
    investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
    --- Bachelor's degree or relevant experience
    --- 8-10+ years of experience as an HRBP or Human Resources Generalist working in a matrixed environment required
    --- Minimum of 8+ years' experience leading the Human Resources function in the pharmaceutical industry
    --- HR experience in the areas of start-up, merger or acquisition operations highly preferred
    --- Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
    --- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    --- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
    --- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software (SAP_ERP), ADP.
