approved as a term appointment with an end date of 12/31/22. There
is a possibility of renewal/extension.This role is offered as a
hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are
required to be onsite at our Boston, MA-based campus 3 days per
week. Specific days and schedules will be determined between you
and your manager.While we continue to monitor the evolving COVID-19

experience required+ Minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll,
finance, accounting or relevant field+ Knowledge of payroll
lawsPosition Description:Reporting to the Controller, oversees and
ensures the accurate processing of all aspects of faculty, exempt,
nonexempt and temporary payroll including International payrolls
for several foreign Global Initiative Research Centers.Key
Responsibilities:+ Identifies and resolves payroll problems, while
serving as the principal source of payroll information for all
Harvard Business School (HBS) employees.+ Key liaison with the
University payroll and HBS Human Resource departments.+ Maintains
and updates current salary and position tracking records for
budgeting purposes.+ Reviews and approves payroll accounting
journal entries.+ Plays critical role in payroll-related
year-end-closing process as appropriate.+ Approves business card
content.+ Processes faculty-related additional compensation.+
Assist with the maintenance of a strong internal control
environment by ensuring compliance with SAS 115, assessment,
revision, and documentation of payroll policies and procedures.+
Monitors budgets related to morale and rewards and recognitions
program.+ Performs analysis and other related duties as
