COMPANY MISSION:At eGenesis, we aspire to deliver safe and effective human transplantable cells, tissue and organs utilizing the latest advancements in genome editing.Position SummaryeGenesis seeks a highly motivated Accounts Payable & Payroll Associate to assist in the day-to-day functions of our growing finance organization. This is a full-time role based in Cambridge, MA.Primary Responsibilties* Process all accounts payable from receipt of invoices to payment, ensuring correct coding and authorization before payment, vendor onboarding and maintenance, etc.* Work with internal team and vendors to ensure invoices are properly received and approved in a timely manner* Review employee expense reports for proper documentation and appropriate use of account codes and approvals in accordance with company policy* Respond to vendor and employee inquiries regarding invoices, expenses and payroll; resolve any discrepancies* Work with finance and other internal departments to ensure that all significant expenses have corresponding approved purchase orders in accordance with company policies* Support finance department in semimonthly, multi-state payroll processing in a timely manner* Responsible for all employee master data in payroll system, including setting up new employees, processing terminations, reviewing time-cards, and performing occasional configuration changes as needed* Coordinate with HR to ensure HR employee records and master data in payroll systems align* Compile backup documentation for auditor selections as needed* Proactively improve processes and practices for increased efficiency and better controls* Other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications* Associate's Degree with 5+ years of experience in AP and payroll processing; Bachelor's Degree preferred* Experience with Paylocity, NetSuite and Concur preferred* Highly organized with a strong attention to detail with a demonstrated ability to maintain confidential and proprietary information* Comfort with flexible and often competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic, biotechnology environmentPowered by JazzHRSDDW5wXGgH
