Job Description:

Reporting to the Head of Patient Recruitment and Retention, the Patient Recruitment & Feasibility Lead will be responsible for leading development, execution and oversight of patient recruitment and retention strategies, and for assessing operational feasibility for clinical programs at Moderna. This critical role will work closely with the PR&R team, study teams, recruitment vendors, CRO, and other key internal and external stakeholders to develop patient recruitment and retention strategies built on operational feasibility assessments and insights. The Patient Recruitment & Feasibility Lead will identify and manage patient recruitment and feasibility vendor partnerships to deliver on Moderna's mission to create a new generation of transformative medicines for patients. Here's What You'll Do: Drive forward innovation within the organization by championing data-driven, patient-centric patient recruitment and retention strategies for Moderna clinical trials Closely collaborate with PR&R team members to develop and execute on highly integrated strategies Develop in-house feasibility capabilities and improve operational effectiveness / study performance by utilizing analytical inputs including decision support data and methodologies for enrollment cycle time planning, protocol feasibility, site identification/selection, and recruitment planning and modeling Identify and leverage new opportunities for collaboration with functions across the organization to benefit patient recruitment and retention strategies and team goals Collaborate with study teams to plan for and succeed in delivering patient enrollment and retention goals, along with CROs and other vendors to establish communication pathways and insights into patient recruitment challenges Build strong recruitment and feasibility vendor partnerships and be accountable for management and oversight Oversee and empower support team members to deliver on recruitment solutions, perform continuous improvement and remove barriers to success Contribute to creating solutions for best practice initiatives around patient recruitment and feasibility Here's What You'll Bring to the Table: Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience working in patient recruitment and retention Experience and thorough knowledge of marketing and advertising strategies around clinical trial awareness Excellent communicator, able to define tasks within a project, anticipate and address conflicts in the timely achievement of projects, complete tasks to deadlines and able to prioritize conflicting demands Forward thinking with the ability to influence and implement change and continuous improvement Have a thorough knowledge of feasibility and patient recruitment/retention strategies and vendors Extensive interpersonal skills, an ability to lead multifunctional teams, and to manage staff and mentor and develop junior staff Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional matrix environment Embody the Moderna values: BOLD in imagining what's possible; RELENTLESS in overcoming obstacles and driving to conclusions; COLLABORATIVE in working with, learning from, and teaching others; and CURIOUS in learning about cutting edge science Here's What We'll Bring to the Table:
