MEETING PLANNER/GUEST SERVICES

MIT Endicott House (MITEH), a conference center located on a magnificent estate less than twelve miles from the city of Boston, seeks a part-time (-32 hours/week) meeting planner to coordinate all aspects of meetings, with the primary focus of maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Will utilize MITEH's event and property management software to maintain timely communication with clients during the planning process, prepare and distribute all pertinent materials internally and externally, provide client assistance and staff direction to ensure proper execution of meetings, perform administrative and clerical tasks associated with meeting planning and provide support to senior management; and attend (in-person or via zoom) a weekly BEO (banquet event order) function review meeting. Will also staff the guest reception desk as needed, assisting guests with check in and check out, providing switchboard coverage, performing concierge services, and assisting guests during their stay to make the most pleasant experience. The position involves interaction with all departmental staff.

Hiring range: $24.00 - 29.00/hour

This is a part-time (32 hours/week) position that has the potential to become full-time. The schedule will be based on business needs and include working evenings and weekends.
