FULL TIME COOK Cadbury Commons at Cambridge is looking for a compassionate individual that has the desire to satisfy the appetites of older adults. In this role this individual will be required to prepare menu items according to establishment's standard, focusing on flavor, appearance, taste and texture; Follows correct cooking procedures and deliver high quality food and timely service to residents at every meal. Prepare food item for occasional events or functions; Maintains station readiness, completes prep work and duties as required at the start and end of shift. Follows ServSafe protocols and procedures for handling food, sanitation and safety; Manages personal workflow at all time and resolves issues promptly. Communicates clearly with wait staff, managers, and staff members; willing to assist in meeting resident's needs. Assists Director of Dining Services in ordering supplies and tracking inventory; have a clear understanding of kitchen procedures and cooking methods, cleans and maintains all kitchen equipment in excellent working condition. This is a Full Time position. Our Assisted Living Residence is family owned and operated and has been in business for 25 years in North Cambridge.
