1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN
Supervisor for a 36-hour, rotating day/evening/night shift position
requiring advanced Med/Surg Telemetry experience and an active MA
RN license. Details - Hospital-based Nursing Administration
Supervisor role within a facility-wide supervisory unit - Rotating
day, evening, and night shifts with every other weekend (EOW) and
every other holiday (EOH) coverage required - 36-hour per week
schedule - 13-week contract - Provides administrative, operational,
and clinical oversight across all patient care services
facility-wide - Must be able to read telemetry strips and perform
and titrate cardiac drips - EMR: Epic (charting experience
required) Requirements - Active, non-conditional MA RN license
required — no pending licenses accepted - BSN (Bachelor's Degree in
Nursing) required - Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
required — AHA only; Red Cross not accepted for this facility -
Minimum 3 years of advanced Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Preferred critical care nursing experience - Ability to read
telemetry strips, perform cardiac drips, and titrate medications -
Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills -
2 professional references required for consideration - Flu vaccine
required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted Additional
Information - Serves as the off-shift administrative and clinical
resource for the entire facility, collaborating with medical staff,
ancillary support, and clinical services - Responsibilities include
conducting patient care rounds with emphasis on high-acuity
patients, investigating patient/family complaints, and ensuring
appropriate intervention in emergent or disruptive situations -
Responsible for notifying the Administrator-On-Call of serious
incidents, internal, and external disasters - Collaborates with
support services, emergency, admitting, and clinical departments to
coordinate patient care and environmental needs off-shift -
Timekeeping system: UKG/Kronos - Local candidates residing within
60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible
