Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Portland, Maine. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - OR /n/n Job Details: /n • Flexible schedule with option of three 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:30 PM) or four 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM) /n• Guaranteed 36 hours per week /n• Weekend requirements: 1:4 weekends with 12-hour shifts /n• Call requirements: 5 weekday night call shifts (7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) and 2 weekend 24-hour call shifts required in a 6-week period /n• Weekend call per rotation, averaging 1:6 weekends /n• Must have Level 1 trauma experience and at least 1 year of OR vascular experience /n• Open case experience mandatory /n• ENDOVASCULAR experience preferred due to high volume of cases /n• Patient ratio: 1:1 /n• Work with vascular team specialty on call model /n• Cover three vascular rooms that run each day /n• Equipment used: Storz, Stryker, Olympus, Intuitive Robot /n• EMR system: Epic /n• CNOR certification preferred /n• Dress code: Teal scrubs issued from the hospital /n• Must have active Maine nursing license /n• Float requirements: May be required to take assignments and do breaks outside of vascular cluster /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility is a Level 1 trauma center featuring a comprehensive operating room department with 26 beds.
